Dr Bao Tran Nguyen

Dentist

Dr Bao Tran Nguyen was born in Vietnam and lived there until she was age five. She lived in a Malaysian refugee camp for over four years before being settled in Brisbane. Though Dr Bao loves travelling all over the world, she is so grateful to call Brisbane home.

To earn her dental degree, Dr Bao attended the University of Queensland and graduated with First Class Honour and the Dean’s Commendation Award in 2006.

Bao is gentle in nature and takes a calm and caring approach to dentistry. She is very approachable, with many patients being comfortable discussing any of their concerns with her. She is also wonderful with children and shows them the fun side to keeping teeth healthy.

Dr Bao loves being a dentist at Be Well Dental because she starts each day with the opportunity to engage and connect with her patients and team. This provides her with a sense of purpose and belonging. She loves making a positive impact on the well-being of others.

When she is away from the dental clinic, you will find Dr Bao reading Chinese and Vietnamese period novels, and she reads nearly every night. When she has a little more time, she uses her artistry to make things and for crafting. She uses calligraphy to relax her mind. Recently, Dr Bao has taken up gardening.
